Congratulations to grade 9 student, Tomas Kalyniuk, for placing in the top 15 at the U17 Canadian Cyclocross Championship this past weekend in Winnipeg. The 40 minute race featured a 3.2km cycling circuit with 150 ft of sand, steep run-ups, white-knuckle descents and terrain including grass, pavement, gravel, sand, dirt and cobblestones.
