Jr Boys Basketball practice scheduled for today is cancelled.

GRADS RE GRAD PHOTOS: you will receive an email from LIFETOUCH to view your grad photo proofs. Same email address you made your appointment with, required to sign in.

LOST: a "Black IPhone 4S in a Black Life Proof Case " was lost last week. Financial reward available in front office in exchange for safe return (no questions asked)!!

GOOD LUCK TO Senior Girls Basketball team, playing in Senior Girls Victoria Christmas Tournament Gold Division this weekend. 1st game is Fri Dec 13 at 6:45 pm at Mt Doug High School vs St. Michael's or Southridge. Game time for Sat Dec 14 depends on Friday's outcome. Have a great tournament, Senior Girls!

Attention all Junior Girls Basketball Players, there will be a meeting in the gym at lunch on WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 18 for a team photo.

GRAD MOVIE NIGHT – WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 18 – fundraising event for Grad 2013 class. $3 AT THE DOOR, OR $2 with a can of food for donation. Movie “ELF”.

TACKY SWEATER DAY: Thurs Dec 19 – wear your tacky sweaters, get into the Holiday spirit! Be creative & decorate a sweater! Fundraiser for the Food Bank.

PICTURES WITH SANTA & THE ELVES: Thurs Dec 19 @ Lunch; come down to front foyer & get your pictures taken with Santa. Bring camera or phone for pictures,& ONE dollar or a CAN of non-perishable food as payment. Donations to Food Bank.

CANNED FOOD DRIVE TO Thursday Dec 19– LET'S BREAK LAST YEAR'S RECORD! Donations: to SIDNEY FOOD BANK, cash, canned goods. Prizes for winning classes.

CHRISTMAS RECYCLED DECORATIONS - FRONT FOYER: to December 20TH: GREEN TEAM setting up trees. Take part in exploring creative recycling - everyone welcome!

CREPES AT LUNCH: every Friday until January 17. Entrepreneurship Class: do you like crepes? Come on Friday to the Cafeteria at lunch, for $2 Nutella or Strawberry Crepes.

ALL STUDENTS: PLEASE CHECK LOST & FOUND FOR JACKETS, WATERBOTTLES, SHOES, SWEATERS, HATS, ETC. Remaining items will be donated to charity.

Parkland will be offering an evening course in Media Arts starting in January.  This will interest anyone who wants to develop skills in computer drawing, vector graphics, basic computer animation, or video production.  Brochures and course registration forms are available in the office.  There will also be a link on our website that you can check out.  See Ms. Miller if you want more information.

WINTER VACATION: schools closed from December 23 to January 3, 2014. Last school day before break: Friday December 20. Return to school: Monday January 6, 2014.
