Any students interested in a Sister City exchange trip to Cairns Australia this summer, please leave your name with Ms. Ford at the office. Deadline for applications  - end of January. Students interested in hearing more about this opportunity to go to Australia, please attend meeting at lunch in the Career Centre tomorrow Wednesday January 22nd.

Congratulations to the 6 Entrepreneurship students who attended the Junior Achievement business competition this past weekend in Vancouver.  Out of 20 schools from across B.C., they were selected as one of 4 teams to move onto the finals, with the winning team to be announced in May.  Way to go Sasha Janzen, Colin Bishop, Michael Ram, Christian Porlares, Paula Protzan and Cassie Zhang.  

REMINDER TO ALL STUDENTS: CAFETERIA IS CLOSED AS OF THIS FRIDAY, AND CLOSED EXAM WEEK AS WELL. See you all at the start of SEMESTER TWO!

PARKLAND IS SEEKING 5 students to provide positive, upbeat, daily MUSIC SELECTIONS for morning music played each day as school begins. Your commitment will be one day per week, beginning Semester Two. Please see Mr. Buckham to get involved.

The Tier II badminton tournament starts today, Tuesday Jan 22.Reminder to players to be early to the gym at lunchtime and remember to bring their gym strip.
