There will be an important Grad Assembly today THURSDAY FEBRUARY 19 in B block for all grade 12 students.  If you are a grade 12 student and do not have a class in B block--please make arrangements to be at the assembly.

Junior Boys Basketball: MEETING AT LUNCH TIME TODAY FOR ALL JUNIOR BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYERS, IN CAREER CENTRE.

REPORT CARDS were distributed this week  -if you missed TAG, please pick up at break, lunch or after school only.

All students welcome to join Parkland Ultimate Frisbee Team! No experience necessary! Please come to a meeting TODAY Thursday at lunch in RM 201 (Ms Wilson's room) for more info. This is an exciting & growing sport & we're looking for more players for this season!

AFTER SCHOOL JUDO PRACTICE  continues Tuesday & Thursday after school. Please see Mr. Gogol or Mr. Fitzgerald for further info.

PARKLAND COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE: Thursday February 26, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Course displays, music, dance, academies presentations, languages, careers and apprenticeships information.
Information and fun for the whole family - chili and a bun, carnival games for kids. Community members and families all welcome!

Tickets available from players, $10 each.

List of grade 12s missing information about grad requirements is attached to Grad Board. If your name is on the list, please meet with Mr. Choo to check grad status.

SPORTS, TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS:
SR Boys Basketball team hosts the South Islands Playoff on Thursday, Feb 19th & Friday, Feb 20th. Please come out & show your school spirit and support the team!

SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM will also host the "AAA" Islands from Thursday, Feb 26th, Friday 27th, and Saturday, Feb 28th. Top three teams from the Island qualify for the Provincials.

Students related to BCGEU members can apply for a $3000 scholarship for post-secondary full time, & $2000 for part-time studies.  Deadline: Friday, Feb 27th.  Ask Mr. Choo for details.

Royal Bank  Aboriginal Students scholarships worth up to $4000 per academic year for students that are status, non-status, Inuit or Metis.  Deadline: February 28th. See Mr. Choo.

RE/MAX of Western Canada Quest for Excellence offering 16 $1000 bursaries. Due:  March 9th.

Two Dave Gifford Memorial scholarships for athletes available, $700 each. Deadline is April 24th.

Two Zone scholarships for BCSS athletes available at $500 each. Application deadline is April 24th.

Educational Facility Managers Association of B.C. offering 4 $1000 bursaries. Deadline is April 30th.

LISA (The Lower Island Soccer Association)has 4 scholarships at $1000 each. Deadline: April 30th.

Two Bert & Greta Quartermaine Badminton Scholarships available at $500. Deadline is May 1st.

The Rotary Clubs of Saskatoon and Rotaract are presenting "Adventures in Technology”: a tour of Canada's research facilities and finest corporations for students interested in a career in science, engineering or technology. Registration fee is $350 including food and social events, plus travel expenses to and from Saskatoon. The application deadline is May 14th.
