SENIOR
BOYS VOLLEYBALL TEAM competed in the Lower Island volleyball
championships this week. In quarter-finals, Parkland beat Stelly's, 25
to 17, then 25 to 20. Parkland then lost to Lambrick in the semis, but
the crucial match against Stelly's means that Parkland qualified for the
Island Championships, which are to be played November 20 and 21.
Congratulations, Panthers, for qualifying for the Islands!
A big congratulations to Joseph Bond who represented Parkland at the B.C.'s for
Cross Country on Saturday in Vancouver. Joseph finished 83rd out of 210 runners - well done Joseph!
