SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS, MEETINGS, EVENTS:

GRAD 2016 WINTER DINNER DANCE takes play Thursday December 3 at Yacht Club, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Listen up Parkland- Beginning December 11, all block B classes will be helping out with two great causes! (1) nnual food drive in support of Sidney Lions Food Bank and (2) collecting stocking stuffers for teens in support of Santa's Anonymous. Start getting together your non-perishable food items, as well as holiday stocking stuffers. Prize for the Block B class that collects the most items! Stelly's has challenged us to see who can raise more - let's show them!

SATURDAY DECEMER 5 - Senior Boys Basketball Tournament @ Parkland - WE PLAY AT 10 A.M., AND 3:15 P.M.

2016 Fresh Minds Symposium: WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 20, 2016

The University of Victoria is pleased to present the 2016 Fresh Minds Symposium, a day-long youth conference for grade 9 students from across BC. Participants will:

  • Engage in a variety of different interactive workshops and presentations
  • Learn basic tools that will help them become effective leaders
  • Get an early taste of university life!
  • If you're grade 9 and interested, sign up on the list on Mr. Choo's door by the end of next week.

ALL GRADS: Many new university, college and trade school academic calendars and

catalogues have arrived in the Career Centre. Come and have a look!

Also: any 2016 GRADS applying for early admission, or for scholarships or bursaries, please give at least two days notice to the front office for obtaining copies of your current transcript.

MATH HELP CENTRE:  open Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays - after school until 4 p.m. for extra math help. Meet in room 105 for help with any math course you are taking this semester.

MEZZANINE IN GYM AREA: now open at lunch, Monday to Thursday, for P.E. make-ups and for students to work out. Students must be in full PE strip and should enter through the back door of the mezz. thank you to Mrs. Beaucamp for making this happen!

AFTER SCHOOL TUTORIAL: TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY from 3:15 to 4: 30 p.m.; FRIDAY from 1:50 to 3:10 p.m. In ROOM 103.
