NATIONAL
INDIGENOUS WRITING CONTEST: contest for Indigneous student writers to
showcase their talents, and present their stories and retold legends.
Rules and guidelines: see front office window, announcement boards,
and www.GoToInfo.ca/ThunderbirdStories. Prizes $2000, $1,000, and $500. Deadline: February 29, 2016.
ATTENTION ALL GRADS: 2016 GRAD TRANSITIONS BOOKLET is now available on the Parkland website for you to view, and work on.
See: students / grad page / grad transitions. There are three buttons,
or sections, to be completed. FIRST READ INSTRUCTIONS carefully, and be
sure to give full answers throughout. See Ms. McNamee to see a sample
paper copy. Each 2016 GRAD must complete this booklet and hand it in
before GT interview is scheduled in April. Button 4 will be loaded
later, to show sample questions for your interview preparation, and
schedule.

Vancouver Island Regional Library (VIRL) is seeking a part time Library Page for the Sidney/North Saanich Library. Duties include shelving materials & routine library tasks.
