REMINDER to all students: locks may be purchased after you have your assigned locker, at front office: $5 for used locks, $10 for new.

NOTICE TO ALL INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: there is a very important meeting for all international students this Friday September 9 at 2 p.m. in the Theatre. ALL INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS MUST ATTEND THIS MEETING!

notice all students registered in LEADERSHIP: first meeting will be Wednesday September 14 at lunch in the theatre. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Mickelson or Ms. Frith.

ANNUAL CHATTERHIGH COMPETITION: starts September 19 to October 28 - answer questions daily and earn money for your school! See Camosun College ChatterHigh Competition page, and sign up!

ATHLETIC ANNOUNCEMENTS:

PARKLAND ROWING TEAM needs rowers. All grades, boys & girls, no experience necessary. Lunch time meeting on Thursday September 8 in Room 100 to find out more and/or sign up. Parent meeting at 6 p.m. in the learning commons, Thursday September 8.

ALL STUDENTS: if you are interested in SWIMMING OR RUNNING X COUNTRY for Parkland this year, please come to the gym to see Mr. Sutton.

ATTENTION ALL BOYS SOCCER PLAYERS: there will be practice on Monday September 12, Tuesday September 13, Wednesday September 14, and Thursday September 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. in Parklands Gym. Please attend if you want to play this year.

ATTENTION ALL GIRLS VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS: try-outs will be on Tuesday September 13, Wed Sept 14 and Thurs Sept 15 from 3:15 to 5 p.m. in Parklands Gym. Please attend if you want to play this year.

ALL BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYERS; JUNIOR AND SENIOR - regular Sunday night drop-in with Mr. Coughlin, runs from 7 to 9 p.m. in Parkland Gym, starts this coming Sunday September 11. Please come out for a run to play some pick-up basketball to get ready for the upcoming season!

VICTORIA FLYING CLUB CAREER FAIR and OPEN HOUSE: September 10 from 11 to 3 - if you are interested in a Career in Aviation, this event is for you! See poster on Career Centre boards.
