ALL STUDENTS: CLASSES WILL BE GUIDED DOWN TO PICTURE DAY IN GYM. If you miss PHOTO DAY, please note: PHOTO RETAKE DAY IS OCTOBER 18. All students must have their photo taken, as these are used for YEARBOOK and STUDENT records system.

ALL STUDENTS: please return your intake packages as soon as possible to the front office!


NOTICE  to all students registered in LEADERSHIP: first meeting is TODAY Wednesday September 14 at lunch in the theatre. If you have any QUESTIONS,  please see Mr. Mickelson or Ms. Frith.


IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL PARKLAND INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: There is a mandatory meeting for ALL PARKLAND INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS on Thursday September 15 at lunch in the THEATRE. Please bring your lunch and make your way to the theatre as soon as Block B ends so that we can use as much of the lunchtime as possible to discuss important information.


THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 15 - EARLY CLOSURE @ 2:03 P.M.; MEET THE TEACHER NIGHT - 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; PAC meeting @ 7:30 p.m.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 16 - CLUB DAY @ LUNCH - COME OUT AND FIND OUT ABOUT ALL Parkland's clubs, teams, extra activities!


ALL STUDENTS: locks may be purchased after you have your assigned locker, at front office: $5 for used locks, $10 for new. PLEASE COME TO TO   FRONT OFFICE before school, @ break, @ lunch, or after school ONLY. You should not be leaving class to pick things up.

ANNUAL CHATTERHIGH COMPETITION: starts September 19 to October 28 - answer questions daily and earn money for your school! See Camosun College ChatterHigh Competition page, and sign up!

ALL STUDENTS: please pick up any June 2016 report cards from front office - before school, @ break, @ lunch or after school ONLY.

ATHLETICS, SPORTS TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:

ATTENTION ALL INTRAMURAL STUDENTS: Please meet in the gym this Thursday (September 14) at LUNCH.

PARKLAND ROWING TEAM needs rowers. All grades, boys & girls, no experience necessary. See Mr. Hilton in Room 100 to find out more and/or sign up.

ALL STUDENTS: if you are interested in SWIMMING OR RUNNING X COUNTRY for Parkland this year, please come to the gym to see Mr. Sutton.

ALL SENIOR BOYS SOCCER PLAYERS: There will be another practice on Monday September 19 at 3:15 p.m.

ATTENTION ALL BOYS VOLLEYBALL  PLAYERS: there will be practice on Wednesday September 14, and Thursday September 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. in Parklands Gym. Please attend if you want to play this year.

ATTENTION ALL GIRLS VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS: try-outs will be on Wed Sept 14 and Thurs Sept 15 from 3:15 to 5 p.m. in Parklands Gym. Please attend if you want to play this year.

ALL BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYERS; JUNIOR AND SENIOR - regular Sunday night drop-in with Mr. Coughlin, runs from 7 to 9 p.m. in Parkland Gym. Please come out for a run to play some pick-up basketball to get ready for the upcoming season!

JAZZ BAND - Monday and Wednesday; 7 a.m.;  CONCERT BAND - Tuesday and Thursday, 7 a.m.; CHOIR - Friday, 7 a.m. ALL REHEARSALS TAKE PLACE IN THE MUSIC ROOM.

BAGEL BREAKFAST:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings, before school, at the BLUE TABLES area.
