ALL STUDENTS ARE REMINDED: REPORT CARD PICK-UP IS NOW AVAILABLE FROM FRONT OFFICE - @ BREAK, @ LUNCH, OR AFTER SCHOOL. Please do not leave your class for picking up materials!


MANY THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF MEMBERS, LEADERSHIP STUDENTS AND all OTHERS who helped with the planning, organization, and hosting of Parkland's very successful OPEN HOUSE last night. We had great attendance, and it was a wonderful way to introduce our school to the community!

Congratualtions to our Sr Girls Basketball team who won a big game over Wellington last night. They play tonight @ 5:30 at Lambrick Park against SMU. Come out and cheer our girls on to the provincials.


HANDBAGS FOR HOPE COLLECTION: Clean your closets and donate new or gently used handbags, scarves and jewelry to fund CHILDHOOD CANCER RESEARCH. Bring donations to school office until end of TODAY February 17.


FRIDAY FEBRUARY 17 - GRADE 12'S GT SESSION IN FISH BOWL - from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Please see Mr. Buckham if you cannot attend.

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 18 - GRAD BOTTLE DRIVE @ PARKLAND - drop off from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Support your 2017 GRADS! CANS, BOTTLES, AND JUICE CONTAINERS ACCEPTED. Drop your donations buy parking lot near tennis courts! Students will also be driving around the neighbourhood, so you can put donations at your driveway or doorway for pick-up. Thanks from Parkland's 2017 Grads!

UVIC has an open house  on Saturday, February 18th.  An excellent opportunity to visit the campus, meet faculty and find out about their many programs.  Online registration deadline: February 15th but it's likely to fill up, so sign up soon.  See Mr. Choo for details.

Any students planning to write the S.A.T. this school year can contact Mr. Choo about a $150 discount on a S.A.T. prep course that starts on April 8th at St Michael's University School.

SUBMIT ORIGINAL "SAFETY AT WORK" VIDEO, AND WIN A CASH PRIZE: WorkSafe B.C. looking for creative video productions that explore the topic of speaking up for safety at work. MATH HELP CENTRE:
Monday and Wednesday after school: 3 to 4 p.m., Rm 201; and Thursday morning before school - 7:15 to 8:15 IN Rm 112.
