VERY IMPORTANT WORK EXPERIENCE NOTICES:

1. ALL STUDENTS finishing up their WORK EXPERIENCE need to see Ms. McNamee ASAP!

2. ALL STUDENTS, ALL GRADES - Students who are planning on taking WORK EXPERIENCE next year, and who have a job this summer, need to see Ms. McNamee if they want to ACTIVATE THE COURSE in July - remember, your hours don't count until the course is ACTIVATED! 


REMINDER FOR ALL GRADE 11 STUDENTS: website to order grad pinneys for next year's grads will be available starting Monday June 11. ORDERNG DEADLINE: June 22, 2018. Please see Olivia Erfle if you have any questions.

PENINSULA PLAYERS welcomes Parkland students for on-stage and back-stage auditions and participation. Auditions will be held for murder mystery play by Agatha Christie called "The Mousetrap"  in July. Students can register as members on Peninsula Players website. If interested in work experience credits - see Ms. Irving.

MISSING FROM GIRLS LOCKER ROOM Friday June 1 - Vans old style type, black with white stripe runners, size 7-8. If found, please bring to front office so they can be returned to owner. 


For Parkland's National Aboriginal Day celebrations this month, Fried Bread will be sold in the foyer Wednesdays at lunch; $2 each piece or you may bring in a non-perishable food item to donate to the local food bank. If you do not want the bread but still want to donate, you can still come by to pay it forward for someone else!


ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: SCHOOL BUS REGISTRATION for 2018 - 2019 is now open - see link from Parkland website for registration form and other information including deadline - June 29, 2018.


WOULD ALL THOSE JUNIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYERS who still have SHORTS / UNIFORMS out, please return them to Ms. Gribling in the front office, as soon as possible.

- SUMMER DAY CAMP @ HIGHWAY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP - July 16 to 20. Volunteers needed to help lead students in day activities - crafts, games, sports, drama, set up of stage decor and work stations. See Ms. McNamee for details.


- DO YOU LIVE BY AMICA / BEECHWOOD? Can you spare 5 minutes a day, 3 or 4 days per week; June through October - doing some watering  - See Ms. McNamee for further details.

TUTORIALS AND COURSE WORK ASSISTANCE: LOTS OF HELP AND ACADEMIC SUPPORT AVAILABLE!

1. ROOM 201, EACH DAY FOR 1 HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES, with Mr. Morley - available to help with MATH, CALCULUS, SCIENCE, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY. OPEN to all students, including those working on SIDES courses. 

2. TUTORIALS IN LEARNING CENTRE: REMINDER TO ALL TEACHERS AND STUDENTS - TUTORIAL IS AVAILABLE daily after school.    Wednesday & Friday tutorial times are best for longer tests & assignments.
3. LEARNING COMMONS SUPPORT: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday day after school until 3:40 p.m., Wednesday & Friday until 3:35 p.m.

4. MATH & SCIENCE HELP:  available every day after school in Room 208.
