IT'S EARTH WEEK AT PARKLAND! Today WEDNESDAY APRIL 24 at lunch , everyone is welcome to come out to the garden to help plant a tree and clean up the space! Also at lunch: Geography students will have a display about ocean plastic pollution in the front foyer, and Geography students are also collecting clothing donations to support youth in need.
THURSDAY APRIL 25 - Have you ever though about your connection to the planet? Today, two Parkland classes are heading out to clean up a local beach. What's one action you could take today? Continuing at lunch: Geography students have created a display about plastic pollution. Also, continuing - clothing collection for youth in need. How can you reduce the amount of plastic in your life?

FRIDAY APRIL 26 - Happy EARTH WEEK PARKLAND! Free salad from the Parkland garden in the front foyer at lunch! Any extra will be donated to the Sidney Lions Food Bank. Thank you to every student and teacher helping in the garden this year. Today is the last day for any clothing collection as well!
IN ADDITION TO THE TOONIE DRIVE: Student council is collecting clothing and other essentials in the foyer until end of April. Donations will be made to Threshold Housing Society for the homeless youth in Victoria. All donations are greatly appreciated but there is currently a higher demand for kitchenware.
