***ALL STUDENTS: YEARBOOKS HAVE ARRIVED! Starting today AFTER SCHOOL you can go to the Library Learning Commons to pick yours up! All overdue library items and school fees must be accounted for before receiving your yearbook. Please see Jadzia in the Learning Commons, or Mrs. Bennett in the front office if you owe library fees.

 ***ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS WHO HAVE SIGNED UP FOR WORK EXPERIENCE IN THEIR SEPTEMBER 2019 TIMETABLES: please see Ms. McNamee ASAP, to discuss initiating your work experience for credit if you are working over the summer. 


 *** REMINDER TO ALL STUDENTS: EXAM SCHEDULE IS NOW POSTED ON THE FRONT PAGE OF THE PARKLAND WEBSITE. If you  have a conflict with two exams scheduled at the same time, be sure to check in with the teachers from each class, as well as with Mr. Buckham, to come up with a plan to write of one of the conflicting tests at a different time. ALSO - BRING A SNACK! Cafeteria is closed exam week.

ALL GRADS ARE REMINDED: MAKE YOUR POST-SECONDARY INSTITUTION SELECTIONS (PSI) before July 12 to have your transcripts sent automatically to up to 25 institutions free of charge through the Ministry of Education. Please note: some entrance admission offers to college or university may be delayed or denied if you do not authorize release of your transcript data. Go to Ministry of Education website, student transcripts, and set up an account to complete your PSI selection, or to order transcripts. 


ALL GRADS: transcripts WILL NOT BE MAILED FROM THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION THIS YEAR. After July 30, you must go on-line and log on to: StudentTranscripts Service TO ORDER YOUR GRAD TRANSCRIPT.


ALL STUDENTS: DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT PARKLAND SPIRIT WEAR before summer hits! Order forms at front office - pay and place your order - pick up at the end of the day!


ALL STUDENTS: year-end report cards will be availabe for pick-up at the front office - TUESDAY JULY 2 to FRIDAY JULY 5. Report cards will not be mailed out. If someone else is picking up your report card, other than you or your parent, we must have written or text permission.


School Bus registration for the 2019-20 school year is now open, click on the billboard on the Parkland website to register; OR LINK TO REGISTER, SD63 website, under Programs and Services, Transportation.


VOLUNTEERS WANTED: Student volunteers wanted to welcome new international students to Parkland next year. Must be available August 28 or 30. Please see Ms. Anderson in the counselling area if you are interested in helping out!

STEP UP YOUTH PROGRAM: DEADLINE JUNE 30, 2019. Volunteer in healthcare settings - learn about Island Health's C.A.R.E. values, policies, patient-centred care.
