Parkland students sponsored a number of community support initiatives leading up to the holidays. Grade 11 Leadership Student Laura Pettinger organized the Food Drive which brought in 4459 food items and $2047 in cash. Way to go Parkland community! Grade 11 Leadership students Anika Updegrove and Hailey Gordon collected 6 large boxes filled with backpacks, toiletries, and winter clothes for Where the Heart Is Foundation that supports the homeless population.
