Students are you interested in Indigenous Culture? Looking to participate in an Indigenous Leadership group? Then join our Google Classroom with this code: oxdyxkt  The goal of this group is to continue to support and create opportunities for all students to engage in meaningful learning about local Indigenous culture. this group is working to strengthen our goal of being a school that is welcoming to all learners and community members, and reflective of the worldviews and culture of the W̱SÁNEĆ people on whose territories the school is situated. This is open to all students, not just Indigenous students so bring your friends! We will start in Quarter 3 and go until the end of Quarter 4, meeting every Thursday in Room 206 (Shannon's classroom) to discuss our different ideas and have chances to learn from different knowledge keepers in the area. First Meeting:  Thursday, February 4th

Our schedule has Flipped, this means that Block 1 moves to alternating days and Block 2 is now every day. Students should have brought  home a notice from each of their teachers with the plan for their class, and School bus routes are changing. Please see routes near you - West side -- East side.

Central Saanich Little League Registration information. Ages 13-16

The Parkland Track 2021 campaign has been officially launched.  You will notice posters in the school and around the community advertizing this campaign.  We hope to raise enough money by June of next year to replace the track over the summer.  Please spread the word about this exciting new project and check out the website at www.parklandtrack2021.com .  There is a DONATE NOW button on the website for those interested in donating.

Are you thinking about life after high school? Our District Indigenous Post-Secondary Liaison Shane Hartman is at Parkland every Tuesday from 11:00am-12:00pm in the Cultural room to answer questions and help you with your Post-Secondary needs. ATHLETICS, SPORTS TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS AND GAME ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Attention Jr. Boys Basketball players.  There will be practice after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please make sure you have your form signed and handed in.

Intramurals is now up and running within the cohorts.  The lunch time schedule for gym time is as follows:
Intramural Volleyball Finals:  Today: Staff vs Mia Penney's team.  May the best team prevail.

When intramurals are not playing the lunch time gym schedule is:

After School Math Tutorial Now Running (Virtually!)
Former Parkland Student and UVic math degree holder Chloe Hegland will be hosting extra-help sessions for math after school on Wednesdays from 2:15 to 3:30. Students will need their own device and Zoom account to join, but can do so from the comfort of their home. Drop in once you are home after school whenever you need help working through problems, require a mini review lesson, or want help studying for a test. The credentials to join are:
