Our school music program is holding a Purdy’s fundraiser, order deadline is November 24. Online ordering and paying only.

The French club will be meeting at lunch on Friday, November 5 for conversation and kahoot. Bring your lunch and join us in room 112.

Our leadership class is holding a donation drive for the Home is Where the Heart is Foundation. Items to donate are: winter clothes, toiletries, non-perishable food items and backpacks to put everything in. Items can be dropped off at the office.

The School Board Office has a Strategic Plan for 2022-2027 and is conducting a consultation survey, your support and voice are appreciated.

All school fees can now be paid online. Example: math or science workbooks, cafeteria cards, spirit wear, grad wear, team hoodies, class trips.

Numeracy & Literacy Assessments are this week, Nov 1-5. See schedule. Talk to Mr. Earnshaw if you have questions.

Youth Health Clinic is every Thursday night 5:30-7:30 @ Shoreline Medical Clinic.

The PAC Breakfast Program will be Thursday's and Friday's 7:45-8:20.  Baked goods and juice boxes available.  .25 cents per item.

Monday November 15, at lunch in the Learning Commons, a Camosun College recruiter will be coming to our school to speak to any grade 12's interested in attending Camosun in the future!  They will talk about everything from Engineering Programs, Nursing, Trades, Arts and Science, Sports and Athletic Therapy, and University Transfers. Please stop by and see Ms. McNamee and let her know you are interested in attending.All are welcome!!

Want to work in Early Childhood Education (ECE) The South Island Partnership has been chosen by the Ministry of Education to be one of ten sites across the province to deliver dual credit ECE courses during the 2022 calendar year. We have been awarded special funding to deliver a five-course cluster of dual credit courses that are part of Camosun's Early Learning & Care (ELC) program, running February - June 2022.



The Youth Employment Program Providers (YEPP) of Victoria presents four virtual info sessions from 23 customized youth employment programs on all the supports we offer to help youth find employment.  Come join us to learn about all the amazing programs for youth ages 15 to 30! Register for free today.


UBC Engineering Open House online: Saturday, November 6 will provide presentations about admissions, Co-op, the student experience and all of our engineering programs from both campuses will have virtual booths. Register to attend online.  They also have All Girls Events throughout October.

Early Childhood/Learning Care.  Interested in working with young children in a Daycare/Preschool setting.  Amazing opportunity for a grade 12 student interested in this career field.  See Ms. McNamee on Wednesday.

New South Island Partnership Option for Grade 12 students!! If you are interested in Early Childhood Education as a future Career, please come to the Career Center and see Ms. Mac ASAP. In the Early Learning and Care (ELC) program, you'll be provided with cutting edge knowledge and skills to work collaboratively with children, families, professionals and communities. You'll learn to create responsive environments that support each child to reach their potential in every area.

Are you in Grade 12?  Interested in the field of Education? Saanich School District, in partnership with Vancouver Island University is offering a new Career Program " Educational Assistant and Community Support Certificate".    This is a 7-month full time program, starting in February 2022.   It is a DUAL CREDIT program sponsored by the district, so the Tuition is paid for! Please see Ms. Mac if you are interested.  There are also seats for paying adults!!
