Parkland student attended the Team BC (female team) tryouts in Williams Lake last week and was
awarded a spot on the team. Team B.C. is composed of the top bantam/midget age players from
across the province. Shyanne will represent B.C. at the 2013 National Aboriginal
Hockey Championships to take place in Kahnawak, Quebec later this month.
