April Provincial Exams : any student who is planning to write / re-write a provincial exam during this upcoming April Exam session, please see Mr. Buckham ASAP to ensure that you are signed up for one of Thurs, Apr.10th or Friday, April 11th!"

2) Volunteers are desperately needed for 3 upcoming Elementary School Track Meet events happening this month at Centennial Park on consecutive Wednesdays: the 16th, the 23rd, & the 30th. Volunteers for this marshalling job will receive 6 hours of volunteering time towards their 30 hour work/volunteer experience for graduation. Please see Mr. Buckham to sign up if interested in this easy volunteer contribution that makes a BIG difference in the lives of 4th and 5th graders !! "

SPORTS, TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS:

INTRAMURAL DODGEBALL SCHEDULE:
Tuesday April 8 – Tier II Gold Medal Final
Wednesday April 9 – Tier i Gold Medal Final

There will open gym volleyball today (Tuesday) after school.

Open gym weight training after school on Weds.

Open gym badminton Friday after school.

If you intend to play intramural soccer, the last day for entry forms are this Thursday at lunchtime. 

Congratulations to the Senior Girls Soccer Team on their first victory with an 11-0 win over Vic High. Annika Messer was top scorer with four goals; Delaney Belknap scored a hat trick; defensively the sweeper/stopper combo of Aqulina James and Erin Pomphrey had another outstanding game; and Jeanna Sheppard got the shut out in net. Everyone hould be very proud of their great spirit and incredible improvement in the first games of the season.
 
Parkland Senior Girls Soccer Team has their second to last home game of the season, today at Blue Heron Park. Kick off is at 3:45 if you would like to come out and support your Panthers as they take on St. Margaret's.

Attention all student athletes:  ROW TO THE PODIUM EVENT has been rescheduled to TUESDAY MAY 13, at lunch in room 114, information session on Row To The Podium.  If you are interested in finding out if you have what it takes to be an Olympic rower, please come. There will be a podium search event held at PISE on May 25th.
