MEETINGS, PRACTICES, announcements, EVENTS:

Spirit Wear has arrived. Please come to room 210 today at lunch to pick up!

There is a mountain bike team meeting today at lunch in the woodshop.

Any students interested in joining Parkland's Ultimate Frisbee team are invited to a meeting today at lunch in room 102. This co-ed team welcomes all players, boys & girls, grades 9 through 12. No Experience Necessary! Come learn about this super fun, non-contact sport as well as when and where practices, games and possibly tournaments will be.  See you Thursday at lunch!

There is an important Dance Club meeting today Thursday April 10 at lunch in the theatre. All dancers planning on performing in festival need to be there. Please attend!

Volunteers needed now for 3 upcoming Elementary School Track Meets at Centennial Park on Wednesdays: April 16th, 23rd, & 30th. Marshalling jobs receive 6 hours towards 30 hour volunteer experience for graduation. Please see Mr. Buckham to sign up - this easy volunteer contribution makes a BIG difference in the lives of 4th & 5th graders !! "

CINDERELLA FAMILY SHOW @ Parkland SATURDAY APRIL 26 – 1 p.m. - $10 per family, no matter how many kids come along! All proceeds from this interactive show go to our theatre program!

SPORTS, TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS:

Congratulations to Sayril’s team who beat Rhys’ team to win the Tier II dodgeball finals.

Congratulations to Team Loftus who won a tie-breaker gold medal Tier I final over Morgan Banks’ team.
 
Congrats to the Senior Girls Soccer Team for their second win of the seaon yesterday over St. Margaret's School. Hitomi Watanabe scored Parkland's goal & Jeanna Sheppard got her second shut-out of the season. Well done ladies!

Jr Boys BBall Open gym this Thurs after school is cancelled because Mr. Buckham is away on the Seattle Guitar Trip; next Thursday April 17th is a go!

INTRAMURAL DODGEBALL SCHEDULE:

Open gym weight training after school on Weds.

Open gym badminton Friday after school.

If you intend to play intramural soccer, the last day for entry forms are this Thursday at lunchtime. 

Attention all student athletes:  ROW TO THE PODIUM EVENT has been rescheduled to TUESDAY MAY 13, at lunch in room 114, information session on Row To The Podium.  If you are interested in finding out if you have what it takes to be an Olympic rower, please come. There will be a podium search event held at PISE on May 25th.
