A reminder to the Fit for Life 12 class that you need to load the bus to go to PISE at 11:15 today with your PE strip and lunch.

A special message to all grade 12 scholarship applicants trying to meet today's deadline for the Parkland Community Shcolarships.  Don't panic that Mr. Choo is not here today to answer your last minute questions.  Deadline is extended to Monday, May 5th 3:00 p.m. so that you can meet with Mr. Choo on Thursday and Friday.  Please hold your questions for Mr. Choo's return & refrain from inundating  other counsellors, teachers, & office staff with scholarship questions that are best answered by Mr. Choo.
Please remember to request TRANSCRIPTS ahead of deadline time!

Attention Grads:  Masters of Ceremonies nominations , Valedictorian nominations and Musical Audition forms are available on the Grad board. All applications and nominations, and GRAD PACKAGES - due TODAY WEDNESDAY April 30, 2014.

ALL STUDENTS & STAFF: today WEDNESDAY APRIL 30 – “no breaks “schedule begins ; school will be dismissed at 2:48 p.m. Buses will run 15 minutes earlier; except FRIDAY, when regular schedule remains.

ALLGrade 11 & 12 students interested in  a trip to Camosun to research post secondary programs and options - Thursday, May 1st, please see Mr. Buckham for permission form. This is a half day trip in the morning only, you will be back in time to attend afternoon classes."

A reminder to all dance club members that rehearsals resume again this Monday May 5 at 7:30am in the theatre.

METAL RECYCLING FUNDRAISER: Friday May 9 to Monday May 26 – bins Parkland back parking lot – thank you for your support of Parkland Rowing!

UVic will have a rep at Parkland on the morning of Wednesday May 21st to assist students with registering for UVic fall classes. Sign up for an appointment on Mr. Choo's door.

Do you have an idea for a movie or TV show? Write up a one-page outline and email it to myscript@schoolcreative.com. First prize: $100 in Cineplex Odeon Tickets. Deadline is June 1.
