METAL RECYCLING: STARTS today Wednesday NOVEMBER 12 @ PARKLAND – TEACHER PARKING LOT.

Tonight: SCHOOL TRUSTEES CANDIDATES MEETING for all candidates in upcoming municipal elections. From 6:30 to (:30 p.m., Parkland theatre.

Important Reminder for Tomorrow:  Picture Retakes will be happening in the Theatre Foyer for the morning only (8:30am - 10:30am)

PING PONG CLUB MEETS EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY at lunch in Room 208. Come out and meet new people and develop your game for an all Parkland tournament.

OSEF OVERSEAS EUROPEAN EXCHANGE MEETING – Wednesday November 26, 6:30 p.m., @ Stelly's, in the library. Nine or eleven week exchange with travel to France, via Toronto and Niagara Falls, and exchange visitors coming from Europe summer 2015.

KNITTING FOR THE HOMELESS: Living homeless is a hard reality. Know how to knit, or want to learn? Join us today - Thursdays @ lunch, in RM 212. Help warm the homeless!

CHATTERHIGH COMPETITION is under way – both staff & students sign up and start earning points for Parkland.Go to Chatterhigh.com and start earning for your school!
Parkland Is now in third place, so sign on every day and contribute to the total!


SPORTS, TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS:
Huge congratulation to the JR. GIRLS VOLLEYBALL team who participated in round robin playoffs Monday & won their pool by going 5 wins 1 loss. Pool included Belmont, Mount Doug and Reynolds. The girls play in semi finals today at Reynolds against the winner of a challenge game between Belmont and Claremont at 5:00 pm. Please come out and cheer them on. Outstanding effort and great representation of your school, girls!

Meeting tomorrow Thursday November 13 at lunch in the gym for all SENIOR girls interested in playing BASKETBALL this year. This includes all girls that attended one of the tryouts and any girls that want to play but could not attend a tryout. Also if there are any junior girls that could not or did not attend a tryout but want to possibly play, please attend the meeting.
