This is FOOD DRIVE MONTH @ Parkland! Please bring in donations for school-wide, by grade contribution to community, and enter your class into prize winning competition!HELP FILL THOSE BOXES!

COATS FOR KIDS: COATS, HOODIES, SWEATERS, SOCKS, HATS, GLOVES – all being collected in front foyer box. Help keep our community warm – bring a donation!

ALL STUDENTS: Please check lost and found. Any clothing items left by December 15 will be donated to local charities.

TODAY: KNITTING FOR THE HOMELESS: Living homeless is a hard reality.  Want to learn to knit? Join us  - Thursdays @ lunch, in RM 212. Help warm the homeless!

SPORTS, TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS:

Are you a basketball fan & need VOLUNTEER HOURS? On Dec 5/6, Parkland SR Boys Basketball Team are hosting a tournament at Parkland. They need SCOREKEEPERS!!  Training is provided.Games Friday and Saturday. See Ms. McNamee if you can help!

Attention all Girls Volleyball players, Uniforms are due back to Tommi ASAP. Cheques will be deposited December 5th.

Small Engine Repair Work Opportunities
Are you interested in Small Engine Repair?  Do you like fixing lawn mowers, weed eaters, and computers?  If so please come and see Ms. McNamee for possible local work opportunities!

NEW YEP RETAIL TRAINING: Sundays, starting December 14, to January 4. Certificate program & training in: cash register, customer service, and more. See Ms. McNamee SOON to sign up.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES START THIS WEEKEND: Christmas Dinner at Shoal Centre (Dec 10), Christmas Village Lions Lunchbox (Dec 5 to 7, & Dec 12 to 14). See Ms. McNamee ASAP to get involved. Volunteer hours can go toward GRADE 12 GT credits, a rewarding way to give back!

TEX Trades Exploration Program: students interested in Trades Exploration Program - 5 month program offered by SD63 is a sampler of Welding, Carpentry, Plumbing and Electrical.
