ALL GRADS must complete Grad Transition Plan by March 6th! Please see Ms. Hackman if you need assistance. You must also have your DPA and WORK EXPERIENCE OR VOLUNTEER FORMS turned in, in order to get a GT interview appointment booked.

There is an important meeting for all yearbook students TODAY at lunch. Could all yearbook students please meet at Mr Wong's office at the beginning  of lunch.

Attention all Track and Field Athletes.  If you are wanting to participate on this year's track and field team, please attend a very important meeting TODAY Monday February 23 at lunch in room 201.

PARKLAND COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE: Thursday February 26, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Course displays, music, dance, academies presentations, languages, careers and apprenticeships information.
Information and fun for the whole family - chili and a bun, carnival games for kids. Community members and families all welcome!

SPORTS, TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS:

Congratulations to the SR. Boys Basketball team for winning the South Island Playoff.  Harrison Archdekin scored 23 pts and Godwin & Justine Porlares finished with 23 & 10 pts respectively. Parkland is hosting the Islands starting this Thursday and will play Carihi at 5:45 p.m thurs Feb 26. Please come out and support the team next week.

SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM hosts the "AAA" Islands from Thursday, Feb 26th, Friday 27th, and Saturday, Feb 28th. Top three teams from the Island qualify for the Provincials.

Students related to BCGEU members can apply for a $3000 scholarship for post-secondary full time, & $2000 for part-time studies.  Deadline: Friday, Feb 27th.  Ask Mr. Choo for details.

Royal Bank  Aboriginal Students scholarships worth up to $4000 per academic year for students that are status, non-status, Inuit or Metis.  Deadline: February 28th. See Mr. Choo.

RE/MAX of Western Canada Quest for Excellence offering 16 $1000 bursaries. Due:  March 9th.

Two Dave Gifford Memorial scholarships for athletes available, $700 each. Deadline is April 24th.

Two Zone scholarships for BCSS athletes available at $500 each. Application deadline is April 24th.

Educational Facility Managers Association of B.C. offering 4 $1000 bursaries. Deadline is April 30th.

LISA (The Lower Island Soccer Association)has 4 scholarships at $1000 each. Deadline: April 30th.

Two Bert & Greta Quartermaine Badminton Scholarships available at $500. Deadline is May 1st.

The Rotary Clubs of Saskatoon and Rotaract are presenting "Adventures in Technology”: a tour of Canada's research facilities and finest corporations for students interested in a career in science, engineering or technology. Registration fee is $350 including food and social events, plus travel expenses to and from Saskatoon. The application deadline is May 14th.
