SPORTS, TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS:
Congratulations to the SR. Boys Basketball team for winning the South Island Playoff. Harrison Archdekin scored 23 pts and Godwin & Justine Porlares finished with 23 & 10 pts respectively. Parkland is hosting the Islands starting this Thursday and will play Carihi at 5:45 p.m thurs Feb 26. Please come out and support the team next week.
SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM hosts the "AAA" Islands from Thursday, Feb 26th, Friday 27th, and Saturday, Feb 28th. Top three teams from the Island qualify for the Provincials.

RE/MAX of Western Canada Quest for Excellence offering 16 $1000 bursaries. Due: March 9th.
Two Dave Gifford Memorial scholarships for athletes available, $700 each. Deadline is April 24th.

Educational Facility Managers Association of B.C. offering 4 $1000 bursaries. Deadline is April 30th.
LISA (The Lower Island Soccer Association)has 4 scholarships at $1000 each. Deadline: April 30th.
Two Bert & Greta Quartermaine Badminton Scholarships available at $500. Deadline is May 1st.
The Rotary Clubs of Saskatoon and Rotaract are presenting "Adventures in Technology”: a tour of Canada's research facilities and finest corporations for students interested in a career in science, engineering or technology. Registration fee is $350 including food and social events, plus travel expenses to and from Saskatoon. The application deadline is May 14th.
