SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS, MEETINGS, EVENTS:
Yearbooks ARE HERE and we are getting ready to distribute
them. This is reminder that your school account needs to be clear of
any overdue books, missing textbooks, school materials, fines, or other
outstanding issues for you to get your Yearbook. Be sure to make sure
all of this is taken care of before next week so there is no surprises
when you try to pick up your yearbook. More information about when and
where the textbooks will be distributed is coming.

Next year's
timetables are available for pick-up at front office - before school, at break, at lunch, or after school.
Please review your timetable carefully. If there are any problems, pick up a course change form at the office. Sign up on counsellor's door calendar for an appointment. Bring course change form to appointment. Forms must be signed by parents.
NOTICE TO ALL GRADS:
1) Dinner/Dance/Aftergrad tickets NOW ON SALE. Available from Ms. Wigbers at the accounts office, and price has been set at $100. ALL PAPERWORK MUST BE IN BEFORE YOU CAN PURCHASE DINNER DANCE TICKETS.

All grade 12 students who submitted applications to take a guest to the
Dinner/Dance and Aftergrad have had their applications approved unless
Ms. Chicanot has spoken to you. Your guests can now purchase tickets
from the front office.
2) All grads should check the grad board in the foyer to see if they are missing any items. You can also check the UVic map to see where you are seated in the auditorium.
3) GRAD PASSES now available at front office, for grad's use in June on B.C. Transit. Travel safe!
ALL STUDENTS: please check lost and found. Any items remaining will be donated to charity at the end of school year.

CONGRATULATIONS: The Peninsula Power U16 girls softball team won gold in the district finals on Sunday
and are off to provincials the first weekend in July! They went
undefeated all weekend. Parkland players are Alana Dalziel, Mykayla Day,
Taylor Fenton, Breanna Harper, Breanna Harupnuk, Jillian Lawes, Chloe
Satre and Mackenzie Valgardson. GOOD LUCK IN THE PROVINCIALS!

There have been major changes to Thrifty Foods/Camosun Foundation scholarship. Instead of submitting your application to Mr. Choo, students apply for the scholarship online @ Camosun College website. Deadline: August 15th.
