XMAS DONATIONS: All block B classes please bring in:  (1) food drive donations in support of Sidney Lions Food Bank and (2) teen stocking stuffers for Santa's Anonymous. Prize for Block B class with the most xmas goodwill donations!

ATTENTION ALL GRADS: your GRAD 2016 GRAD TRANSITIONS BOOKLET is now available on the Parkland website for you to view, and work on, over the xmas break.
See: students / grad page / grad transitions. There are three buttons, or sections, to be completed.  Read through carefully, and give full answers throughout. See Ms. McNamee if you need assistance or would like to see a sample paper copy. Each 2016 GRAD must complete this booklet and hand it in before GT interview is scheduled in April. Button 4 will be loaded later, to show sample questions for your interview preparation.

Grad students are reminded about the opportunity to sign up to be an organ donor.  Application forms are available at the front office.

ALL GRADS: SIGN UP FOR GRAD PHOTO RETAKES ON LINE - RETAKE DATE IS JANUARY 8, 2016!

catalogues have arrived in the Career Centre. Come and have a look!

Also: any 2016 GRADS applying for early admission, or for scholarships or bursaries, please give at least two days notice to the front office for obtaining copies of your current transcript.

FREE STUDENT TICKETS TO UPCOMING VICTORIA ROYALS HOCKEY GAMES available for pick up at front office.

Students must be 14 years and under , and accompanied by at least one adult. Have fun!


Attention Sr. Boys Soccer Players.  The following players need to return their uniforms to Mr Sutton ASAP: Kalen Hunter, Ben Perdigao. Terence Yao, Till Muecke, Tyrone James, and Alejandro Minakata.  The Hoodies should be in by Next Thursday.

Interested in being a BIG BUDDY to a Local Elementary / Middle  School student?  What to help English Language Learners? If you can dedicate one hour per week for 10 weeks, starting in February, this is fabulous opportunity to help others! Program will be in  partnership with the Inter Cultural Center,  Sidney Elementary and North Saanich Middle school.  Opportunity to earn volunteer credits for work experience! Please see Ms. McNamee ASAP if you are interested!!

BAGEL BREAKFAST: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday mornings, before school, @ blue tables area.

MATH HELP CENTRE:  open Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays - after school until 4 p.m. for extra math help. Meet in room 105 for help with any math course you are taking this semester.

MEZZANINE IN GYM AREA: now open at lunch, Monday to Thursday, for P.E. make-ups and for students to work out. Students must be in full PE strip and should enter through the back door of the mezz. thank you to Mrs. Beaucamp for making this happen!

AFTER SCHOOL TUTORIAL: TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY from 3:15 to 4: 30 p.m.; FRIDAY from 1:50 to 3:10 p.m. In ROOM 103.
