ATTENTION ALL GRADS: 2016 GRAD TRANSITIONS BOOKLET is now on the Parkland website. See: students / grad page / grad transitions. There are four buttons, or sections, to be completed. READ INSTRUCTIONS carefully, and give full answers throughout. See Ms. McNamee to see sample paper copy. Each 2016 GRAD must complete booklet and hand it in before GT interview is scheduled in April. ATHLETICS, SPORTS TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS:
Congratulations
to the Senior Girls basketball team for finishing 3rd at the Brentwood
Ogilvie Invitational tournament. The girls won their first game over
Shawnigan Lake by 40; then lost in the semis to the eventual tournament
winner G.P Vanier. The last game was against Brentwood for third and
fourth. The game was close all the way. The senior girls were behind
until the mid point of the fourth quarter when Lauren Fanelli took over
and lead the team to a hard fought win. All of the girls played hard and
contributed to their success this weekend. Lauren Fanelli, Sarah Gibson
and Olivia Kuyvenhoven were all recognized as players of the games.
