Thre is a meeting TODAY FOR ALL JOURNALISM STUDENTS at lunch. Please meet in Mr. Wong's room at the start of lunch.

OPENING NIGHT TONIGHT! Parkland's Musical Theatre presents  "Legally Blonde" with a live orchestra!   Show runs Wednesday, Feb. 3
through Saturday, Feb. 6.  Doors open at 6:40 p.m. for a 7:00 p.m. start.  Parkland Band will have treats available for sale @ intermission. Thanks to our community for such enthusiastic support! THIS SHOW SHOULD SELL OUT - DO YOU HAVE YOUR TICKETS YET?
 
A reminder to all leadership students that we will resume classes tomorrow Thursday February 4 in our new room 208. There will be a special presentation during tomorrow's meeting so please do your best to be on time!

Want to do something nice for someone you care about? How about buying them a flower gram! Flower grams will be on sale starting today until Feb 11th in the front foyer at lunch. Flowers are $2 each and will be delivered to your special friend right before Valentines day.

Any international students interested in going on the next Whistler ski and snowboarding trip in early March - deadline is Thursday February 4th! See Ms. Pryer ASAP.

There is a meeting for all students going on this year's Montreal trip on Friday February 5 at lunch in Ms. Hassett's room. You will get a package of forms to take home.

Tired of the same old boring sweatpants, why not class it up a little? On Thursday Feb 11th it's Fancy Formal Day! So dust off your nice clothes and dress up for a day!

HANDBAGS FOR HOPE: please donate new and gently used HANDBAGS, JEWELLERY AND SCARVES to the office by Feb 18th.  Funds raised will be in Elise's honour and will support Neuroblastoma Paediatric Cancer Research.  Ladies it is time to clear out your closets for a good cause! Please bring to front office for collection.

NATIONAL INDIGENOUS WRITING CONTEST: contest for Indigneous student writers to showcase their talents, and present their stories and retold legends. Rules and guidelines: see front office window; Deadline: February 29, 2016.


ATTENTION ALL GRADS:  2016 GRAD TRANSITIONS BOOKLET is now on the Parkland website. See: students / grad page / grad transitions. There are four buttons, or sections, to be completed.  READ INSTRUCTIONS carefully, and give full answers throughout. See Ms. McNamee to see sample paper copy. Each 2016 GRAD must complete booklet and hand it in before the deadline of MARCH 11 - before GT interview will be scheduled in April. Sample questions for your interview preparation, and schedule TBA later.

MATH HELP CENTREThe Math Help Centre will be running this semester on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school until 4 p.m. Please come to room 105 for help with any math course that you are taking this semester.

MEZZANINE IN GYM AREA: now open at lunch, Monday to Thursday, for P.E. make-ups and for students to work out. Students must be in full PE strip and should enter through the back door of the mezz. thank you to Mrs. Beaucamp for making this happen!
