SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS, MEETINGS, EVENTS: 

TRACK & FIELD MEETING MONDAY MARCH 7 @ LUNCH - All interested in joining this year's team must attend. First meet is March 30th when we return from spring break. Come to Career Centre at start of lunch, see Ms. McNamee.

There will be a meeting for all students interested in the Spring Sailing Academy on Monday March 7th in the theatre. If you can not make the meeting but are still interested in sailing please see Ms. Frith ASAP.

School Sailing League is starting: April 2 - June 4, 2016.

PROVINCIAL TEST SCORES NOW OUT. Log into the website with your PERSONAL EDUCATION NUMBER, or see your
subject teacher. If unhappy with your results, talk to your teacher immediately to review the test and talk about options.

If you sat the English 12 exam in January and would like to review your exam to learn why you got the mark you did, please see Ms. Chicanot by Friday March 4th to sign the Review Request form.


ALL STUDENTS: The grad class of 2016 is starting a talent show for all students grades 9 through 12 to showcase their skills! Audition forms are at front office, must be returned by Thursday March 10th. Contact Mr. Young for any details.

All girls interested in playing on the Parkland Girls Soccer team this season NEED to attend try-outs Tuesday and Thursday, March 8 & 10th, from 3:15-5 p.m. Don't miss your chance to play by not coming to try-outs!! See Ms. Dibblee for more information. 


U16 Peninsula Girls Softball Team is looking for players born 2000 to 2002 who are athletic & have an interest in playing softball. Anyone interested  contact coach, Mark Simpson, at sliderman09@gmail.com. No softball experience necessary!

COAST CAPITAL SAVINGS YOUTH TEAM: APPLICATIONS CLOSE ON MARCH 31, 2016 - work part-time in a branch as a service representative; represent Coast Capital at community events; complete volunteer hours for literacy - and perhaps find yourself in a great job while going to college or university later. MATH HELP CENTREThe Math Help Centre will be running this semester on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school until 4 p.m. Please come to room 105 for help with any math course that you are taking this semester.

MEZZANINE IN GYM AREA: now open at lunch, Monday to Thursday, for P.E. make-ups and for students to work out. Students must be in full PE strip and should enter through the back door of the mezz. thank you to Mrs. Beaucamp for making this happen!
