SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS, MEETINGS, EVENTS:  

Did you leave your smartphone in the Library last Friday?  If so, come and identify the make and model, and unlock it and you can have it back!


There has been a number of student phones gone missing this week.  If you have found a phone around the school please return it to the office so the owner can identify and get it back.


ATTENTION ALL GRADS:  2016 GRAD TRANSITIONS BOOKLET - If you didn't hand in your package before the break, hand it in today.


CONGRATS to the Track and Field team who started off the season Wednesday with a strong showing in all events.

Ben First in 300 m hurdles and Syrial First in 200 m hurdles.

New comers Sophie, Charlotte, and Paulina did extremely well in throwing events.
Micheal ran an impressive 200 m race finishing 3rd. while Michaela had some great throws in Javelin. 
Great job team!

For any international students interested in going on the Tofino trip, Ms. Jocelyne now has the consent forms available so be sure to stop by her office or the bulletin board to pick one up!  The deadline for payment is Friday, April 8th and it is first come first serve, so get your forms in soon.


ATHLETICS, SPORTS TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS:

A reminder to all students in the Spring Sailing League to complete your online registration by Friday April 1st, that's today. Cash and Cheques can be dropped off at the office or see Ms. Frith. The first lesson is happening tomorrow Saturday April 2nd at 1:00pm.

The Ultimate team will have their first practice next Tuesday April 5th at 3:15 on the upper field. Everyone welcome, no experience necessary, boys and girls in grades 9 to 12 welcome. Bring cleats and a water bottle!

Mr. Choo has updated the application form for the highly anticipated Parkland Community scholarships.  These scholarships are available only to Canadian Parkland graduands.  The strictly enforced deadline is 2 pm on the last school day of April so get your application form now and return it to Mr. Choo before or by 2pm on Friday, April 29th.  Application forms are only available by emailing Mr. Choo.  Please note that Mr. Choo will not be reading or replying to emails on April 4th, 5th, and 6th.

MATH HELP CENTRE:  The Math Help Centre will be running this semester on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school until 4 p.m. Please come to room 105 for help with any math course that you are taking this semester. 

MEZZANINE IN GYM AREA: now open at lunch, Monday to Thursday, for P.E. make-ups and for students to work out. Students must be in full PE strip and should enter through the back door of the mezz. thank you to Mrs. Beaucamp for making this happen!
