ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF: today is the LAST DAY FOR CAFETERIA SERVICE! Make sure to bring your lunch for the next two weeks!


Grads, send a baby photo to parklandgradceremony2017@gmail.com. Half of the class has not submitted a photo and that will make a very lame slideshow to show at grad, so get them in ASAP.

Parkland, time to return Library Books!  Please, look through bags, lockers, and at home for any books you may have borrowed this year.  If you have any missing books on your account, you won't be able to get your yearbook.   See Librarian with any questions.

Are you looking for something fun to do this summer? Do you like to sing and dance? Join Ms. Sousa and Ms. Frith July 4-21, Monday to Friday, here at Parkland for a Musical Theatre summer camp where you will learn new songs and choreography from some of Broadway's greatest hits and put together a community show. Registration is open now through Panorama or see Ms. Sousa or Ms. Frith for more information!

A big thank you to the following Grade 12 Students who dressed up in their fancy clothes and dance with Local Seniors at the Allcare Senior Residents PROM.  It was a very special event. ALL GRADS: Tickets for dinner/dance and aftergrad - including tickets for approved guests - are now on sale.  Students will not be able to collect their tickets until all fees have been paid and all library books returned.

All GRADE 9'S - you are REQUIRED to meet in the theatre on TUESDAY JUNE 27 from 9 to 11 a.m. for the CORE COMPETENCY REFLECTION presentation and exam. Be sure to make note of this time and place!

The Sidney Rotary is sponsoring a $1000 scholarship for a Parkland grad.  The deadline is the last day of classes. Ask Mr. Choo for details.  The deadline is rapidly approaching and only one application has been submitted.

New $2000 scholarship in memory of Constable Sarah Beckett established to award a student entering the field of law enforcement.  Deadline: July 1st.  Applicant must be  Canadian Citizen or permanent resident.  Please contact Mr. Choo.

MATH HELP CENTRE:
Monday and Wednesday after school: 3 to 4 p.m., Rm 201; and Thursday morning before school - 7:15 to 8:15 in Rm 112.

ENGLISH HELP CENTRE:   Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at lunch in the Learning Centre (room 204), staffed by a retired English teacher. Please see Ms. Chicanot if you have any questions about this.

SIDES HELP CENTRE: has started on Tuesday and Thursdays after school in the career centre. Come and get help with any SIDES course. See Ms. Anderson in the counselling office if you have questions.
CULTURAL ROOM TUTORING IS NOW AVAILABLE: Every day after school from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m., in the CULTURAL ROOM. Please see Ms. Mack for assistance with assignments, studying for tests, or other tutoring needs.



ALL STUDENTS: every day after school math help is available in room 201 ( across from the fishbowl lab).  If you missed math class due to illness or need some tutorial help you are welcome to attend.  Don't forget--every day after school there is math help available!


MEZZANINE IN GYM AREA: TO USE THIS AREA, PLEASE INQUIRE WITH P.E. teachers.


MUSIC REHEARSALS ALL YEAR:
