TUESDAY NOVEMBER 28, 2017:

ALL BUS STUDENTS: Notice to all students who have signed up to catch SD63 SCHOOL BUSES  - BUS CARDS WILL BE MANDATORY
BEGINNING THIS WEEK - come at break, at lunch or after school TO PICK UP YOUR BUS CARD!

1) A reminder that there will be a grad executive meeting at lunch today in the Foods room.  We will be finalizing plans for the Winter Semi Formal.

2) Tickets for the December 7th Winter Semi Formal will go on sale today for grade 12s.  Tickets can be purchased from Ms. Bennett in the office or at lunch at the ticket booth in the foyer.  Last day to purchase a ticket is December 5th.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS : ALL International Students signed up for WHISTLER SKI TRIP please come to an important meeting on Wednesday November 29  @ LUNCHTIME, Room 212. This is the meeting postponed from Tuesday. Bring your questions!

"Notice for All Rugby Players:  Rugby practice this week will start right after school at 2:15 p.m. Coach Hale will have equipment
 ready to do more in-depth training and possibly start to introduce tackling ... this is open to ALL players (boys/girls,
 junior/senior) so come out Wed NOVEMBER 29TH right after school on the pitch to have some fun and learn about/play Rugby!"

Ms. Chicanot would like to meet with any students in grade 9 or 10 who are interested in the IB program.  Please plan
to attend an information meeting on Thursday November 30th at lunch in the FOODS room.  See Ms. Chicanot
 if you have any questions.

A University of Toronto advisor will be available for appointments at Parkland this Thursday November 30 from 9 am to 11 am. 
Sign up sheet is on Mr. Choo's office door.  Don't miss this excellent opportunity if you plan to attend the University of Toronto.

PARKLAND FOOD DRIVE STARTS THIS WEEK: November 28 UNTIL FRIDAY DECEMBER 22 - Please bring non-perishable food items to
your Block C class. Even better, you are welcome to bring money. Each dollar is worth three items as the food bank can purchase wholesale. Prizes will be given for top class in each grade and a prize will also go to the overall winning class. We will collect
items on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

ATTENTION GRADE 12'S: Are you thinking of attending UVIC next year? Would you like to earn a $10 UVIC giftcard?
