TUESDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2017:


GENERAL:


REMINDER: Cafeteria will be closed Wednesday - Friday for cleaning. Pizza will be available for purchase in the foyer. $2.50 a slice.


Christmas Candy Grams are for sale all week, purchase at lunch in the front foyer! Candy bags are $2.00 each and exclusive handmade crocheted candy canes are $3.00.


Hot Chocolate and candy canes are also for sale in the front foyer from December 18th - December 21st. $1.00 for hot chocolate and $.50 for a candy cane. All proceeds go to support Santa's Anonymous.


Make a donation to the Make A Wish Foundation! Your money can help grant the wish of a child with a life threatening medical condition. See the donation box at the office!


TOMORROW is pajama day! We will be having a movie in the theatre at 2:15, after school. Admission is free and there will be a concession to purchase food & drinks. The movie will be The Grinch! All proceeds go to Santas Anonymous. Hope to see everyone there!


DONATE CHILDREN'S BOOKS IN THE LIBRARY!

Help support children's literacy by donating a used or new children's book this Christmas! Many children will not have any great books to read and we are hoping Parkland can help! Please consider donating a used or new children's book until Dec 22nd to help make this Christmas extra special for some young children around Sidney. See the donation box in the Library!


PARKLAND FOOD DRIVE: Last day is December 22 - Please bring non-perishable food items to your Block C class. Even better, you are welcome to bring money. Each dollar is worth three items as the food bank can purchase wholesale. Prizes will be given for top class in each grade and a prize will also go to the overall winning class. We will collect items on Tuesdays and Thursdays.


BUS STUDENTS: Notice to all students who have signed up to catch SD63 SCHOOL BUSES - BUS CARDS ARE NOW MANDATORY - come at break, at lunch or after school to pick up your bus card!


ALL STUDENTS: Remember - TALK TO SANTA CLAUS! SCHOOL CLOTHING AVAILABLE - place order at front office, and pick up later the same day! Also - CAFETERIA CARDS $25 - make that lunch time line-up easier!



GOOD HEALTH, AND STARTING THE SCHOOL DAY with BAGEL BREAKFAST: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings, before school, at the BLUE TABLES area.
