Street, Victoria, B.C. For all students interested in CANADIAN ARMED
FORCES RESERVES, how a soldier is trained, what equipment and vehicles
are used. Experience a portion of the annual fitness test, and receive
basic instruction in marching and drill. SPACE IS LIMITED, so early

VOLUNTEER POSTINGS:

NEW VOLUNTEER POSTING - Volunteers needed - looking for energetic,
patient and FUN volunteers for the English Language Learners group! For
the past two years Parkland students have volunteered with elementary
school-aged English language learners at North Saanich Middle School.
this is a partnership with the Inter-Cultural Association and the ELL
students in SD63. Volunteers are partnered up with a little buddy, to
play games, draw, talk, and enjoy a snack together. The group will meet
at North Saanich Middle School every thursday after school, starting
February 8 to March 15. If interested, please see Ms. McNamee right
away. A special meeting for this group wil take place TUESDAY JANUARY 30
@ lunch in the Career Centre.

3. ALERT FIRST AID - SATURDAY MAY 5 - 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. - basic CPR, first aid, hands-on training. $50 registration.
