A BIG THANK YOU to Katie Lee and all the musicians that made the Panthers for Patients concert such a success. Over $1500 was raised to support the fight against lung cancer!


Great article and front cover photo in today's Peninsula Review for SIDFEST Fundraiser for Youth Clinic - $1500 donated to another good cause - congratulations to all Parkland's musicians and volunteers!


IB STUDENTS: There will be an IB meeting at lunch in the Learning Commons on Monday June 18. Please pick up your notification slip from the office today.


EUROPE TRIP SPRING BREAK 2020: There will be a student meeting at lunch on Tuesday June 19 in Room 112.


EUROPE TRIP SPRING BREAK PARENTS FOR 2020: There will be a PARENT MEETING Tuesday evening June 19 at 6:30 p.m. for interested students and their parents. Please attempt to find out more about our detailed itinerary to London, Paris and Barcelona.

CONGRATULATIONS to the PARKLAND SAILING TEAM who finished their season at the Discovery Cup Regatta at Royal Victoria Yacht Club. Everyone raced well & had a great time, even in the extreme winds! Way to go,  team!


GRADE 11 PARENT HELP NEEDED: Every year Grade 11 parents are asked to help the grad parents on Graduation Day. This help is given back the next year following. Help needed is to deal with all after-grad clothing bags on June 27th at the photos at the pier event, 10:30 a.m.. Additional assistance is needed collecting grad gowns on the students return from the UVIC ceremony to Mary Winspear, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., June 27.  If any grade 11 student's parents can lend a hand, please contact: parklandgradparents@gmail.com.


ALL GRADS: please stop by office to vote for your choice for the grad song.  Voting closes Wednesday June 20.


For Parkland's National Aboriginal Day celebrations this month, Fried Bread will be sold in the foyer Wednesdays at lunch; $2 each piece or  bring non-perishable food item to donate to the local food bank, or a school friend.

TUTORIALS AND COURSE WORK ASSISTANCE: LOTS OF HELP AND ACADEMIC SUPPORT AVAILABLE!

1. ROOM 201, EACH DAY FOR 1 HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES, with Mr. Morley - available to help with MATH, CALCULUS, SCIENCE, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY. OPEN to all students, including those working on SIDES courses.

2. TUTORIALS IN LEARNING CENTRE: REMINDER TO ALL TEACHERS AND STUDENTS - TUTORIAL IS AVAILABLE daily after school.    Wednesday & Friday tutorial times are best for longer tests & assignments.
3. LEARNING COMMONS SUPPORT: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday day after school until 3:40 p.m., Wednesday & Friday until 3:35 p.m.
