THURSDAY JUNE 21, 2018 - FIRST DAY OF EXAMS!
BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. Danyluk and all of our amazing Parkland Dancers who showcased their talents Tuesday night at the Parkland Year End Dance Showcase. Many upbeat and energetic dance numbers had the crowd engaged, and even mesmerized. Just a phenomenal set of performances that all students who participated should be very, very proud of!
Long
time member of Parkland Judo Academy - Jon Crisostomo - was promoted to
rank of BROWN BELT (1ST KYU) on June 19, 2018. This is a significant
moment as it is the first time in 30 years that a student has attained
this rank while still a member of Parkland Judo. A tremendous amount of
pain, hard work and dedication went into achieving this significant
goal. We are very proud of Jon and look forward to seeing his JUDO
journey continue in the future.
CONGRATULATIONS
TO ALL OF OUR ATHLETIC BANQUET AWARD WINNERS from the event this past
Monday evening. It was great to see so many athletes out for the dinner
and the awards portions of the evening. We definitely had some very
deserving Athletic Honour Role and Major Award winners for the 2017-18
season of play: congrats again on all your achievements!
