HIGH TECH U: AN INITIATIVE OF UNIVERSITY OF VICTORIA - working to empower the next generation of innovators in computer programs and technology, through real-world, experiential learning opportunities. Seven week intensive weekend program called THE ACADEMY, offered Saturdays from 10 to 4, on UVic campus. Learn using professional tools, gain exposure to software development, and build practical skills to succeed in the ever-changing tech sector. Classes are 4 Sundays in a row for: cash register, counting cash, customer service, creating displays, sorting inventory, pricing, opening and closing procedures and training.
