Friday February 1,  2019 - CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF - GREASE OPENING NIGHTS A GREAT SUCCESS!

Congratulations to the cast, crew, and Musical Theatre staff for an AMAZING show! The standing ovations say it all. All the best for the remainder of the run. Only a very tickets are left so come to the office today if you hope to get in to see this great production!

SPORTS TEAMS IN ACTION THIS WEEK:  

The SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM won 60 to 59 with a last second foul shot by John Mark to give the boys a hard fought victor over Mt. Doug this week. this put them in third place in the league. Way to go boys! Come and watch them play next week in the Spirit Game next Thursday night!


CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SENIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM who won their final regular league game last night - great winning streak girls! Keep up the good teamwork, and good luck with your Lower IslandsTournament at PCS, February 7, 8 and 9!

BRACKENHURST FARM POSITION: Farmhand position; feeding calves, cleaning pens, maintaining clean work environment.  Working with and around large animals and heavy machinery. GARDEN AND YARDWORK, west of airport. Approximately 4 hours per workday, part-time, $13 per hour. Great opportunity for student; last Parkland student had this job for over two years! Can be heavy work, so student should be fit! See Ms. McNamee for further details.


SAANICH - BEAVERBROOK DRIVE - yardwork for two students; every Saturday including grass cutting, weeding, odd jobs, or light housework. Seven hours per week, $15 per hour, starts February 26. See Ms. McNamee for further details.


HOUSEKEEPING: WEST SAANICH ROAD - long term summer job, 20 hours per week, $15 per hour. 


WEEDING AND RAKING, GARDENWORK: NORTHLAWN TERRACE - 3 hours, @ $15 per hour.

SIDNEY MUSEUM is looking for volunteers for LEGO DAY - FEBRUARY 17 AND 18, SHIFTS from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Assist children in building a mosaic from Lego. 


WANTED (ALIVE!) students for REACH PERFORMING COMPANY  - work with instructors, abled and differently-abled youth and adults, weekly. Should have an interest in performing arts, and in working with a diverse and fun group of people. See Ms. McNamee for info.
