PARKLAND & NSMS BAND PROGRAMS FUNDRAISER: BURGER & BEVERAGE @ BOONDOCKS! Monday, February 25th, from 6 to 9 p.m., Tickets $25 each;  includes burger, beverage, taxes and gratuity. Tickets from Parkland office by debit or credit card, 250-655-2700.


FIND YOUR FIT - TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26 - @ BAYSIDE MIDDLE SCHOOL - students / teachers visit all day; parents / community members  3 p.m. to 7 p.m. EXPLORE IN-DEMAND CAREERS: interactive event - help youth apply real life experiences to career planning. Parents and family members welcome; no charge. Presented by: WORKBC and SD 63.

RBC TRAINING GROUND PRESENTATION: Representative from ROWING CANADA is coming to present to some of our classes, but also talk to students over lunch in the main foyer - Thursday February 28, in the building from 10 a.m. to noon. Find out about an opportunity to be tested to see what area or sports are your strengths!


CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM who finished 4th in the Island Championships this past weekend. The boys received MOST SPORTSMAN-LIKE TEAM of the tournament, Congratulations also to John Mark Sorio for his selection to the FIRST ALLSTAR team, and Jon Cowley for his section the SECOND ALLSTAR team. What a great way to finish the season - great job Panthers!


GIRLS SOCCER TRY-OUTS for all players Grades 9 to 12 continue Wednesday and Friday from 2:15 to 3:30 in the gym. If you cannot make this Friday's try-out, please make sure you see Ms. Dibblee and let her know you want to play!

1. TUTORIALS IN LEARNING CENTRE, ROOM 204:  SUPERVISED TUTORIAL IS AVAILABLE daily after school, TO CATCH UP ON SCHOOL WORK, & TO DO MISSED TESTS.  note: Wednesday & Friday tutorials are best for longer tests & assignments. 

2. TUTORIALS IN THE LEARNING COMMONS: every day after school.

3. AFTER SCHOOL FRENCH has now been moved to Room 112, Wednesdays after school.
