EXPLORING AVIATION: VICTORIA FLYING CLUB - Thursday October 17, 1800 to 2030 hours - fun and engaging tour of Victoria Flying Club, short presentation about what's happening at Viking Air, and screening of the feature film: AS THE CROW FLIES - a 1.5 hour documentary showcasing an inspiring seven week aviation journey of Royal Canadian Air Cadets.

ROWING RESULTS - CRABFEST REGATTA: Parkland Rowing Crew opened the season strong this past weekend on Elk Lake. Senior Mens Quad placed 4th; Anna Hulbert, Jada Benwell, Henrike Landwehr, & Anna Langemann placed 3rd in Senior Advanced Womens Quad. Ollie Howard-Batek placed 2nd in Senior Advanced Mens Single. Quinn Benwell, Trey DuMonceaux, Conrad Andrie, Harrison Martin, Jada Benwell, Lina Kuehnreich, Annika Pedersen, Ty Konilla, & Luke LePage placed FIRST in a 500 metre duel against Mt. Doug, and posted the fastest time of the day in their event. Congrats to the entire team for a great day on the water!
CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS - Congrats to the Parkland Cross Country Team for a successful first race. Quinn Stancill was 14th in Junior Boys Race; Isaac Wilson was 15th in Senior Boys Race; Jaylene Melling was 14th in Senior Girls Race; and Anna Eigler finished 5th in Junior Girls Race. Practices Monday and Friday after school this week; new runners always welcome. See Ms. Dibblee.
