***Deadline for the Freemason Essay contest is Tuesday, January 21 @ 3:30 p.m. Please submit printed and electronic copies to Mr. Choo by deadline. The topic is"Civility as Seen Through the Eyes of a Vancouver Island Senior Secondary Student". Grade 11 and 12 students are eligible. *** $100,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship - an entrance scholarship, worth up to $100,000, for student studying Science, Technology, Engineering or Math. Deadline for applying to be considered as Parkland's nominee: Friday January 17, 2020.

***Congratulations to the Jr Girls Basketball Team placing 4th overall in a tournament this past weekend. Their final game came down to the last few seconds where they lost by 2 points. The team played very well and should all be very proud of themselves. Way to go girls!
