PARKLAND DAILY NEWS:

Friday October 9, 2020     DAY 1

Monday is Thanksgiving Day - no school - Enjoy some family time!

October 13 (Day 2) is Flip Day, this means that Block 1 moves to alternating days and Block 2 is now every day. Students will be bringing home a notice from each of their teachers with the plan for their class, and School bus routes are changing. Please see routes near you.

School photos have arrived, please pick yours up in the front foyer.

Today at 3:15pm join the community on the bike path across from the N. Saanich municipality building to protest for climate action, bring a sign and help build awareness!

Just a reminder that student drop off/pick up is in the parking lot by the tennis courts. Or you can use the bus loop.

Although we will not be hosting our traditional, annual Terry Fox Run this year at Parkland, students are still encouraged to get out and complete the run on their own and/or donate to our school’s fundraising page. Stay tuned for some other exciting ways to run as part of the Parkland School community this fall. Our school’s fundraising page: http://www.terryfox.ca/ParklandSecondary

Our Breakfast Bagel program will be starting up soon.  PAC is looking for volunteers to help with this important program.
For only an hour one morning every couple of weeks you can help make sure kids are getting a breakfast before school.
Please send an email to parkland.pac.sd63@gmail.com if you are able to help.
