PARKLAND DAILY NEWS:

Wednesday January 6, 2021  ~ DAY 1   Happy New Year!

Ms. Chicanot is looking for 1 or 2 students to capture short (30 second) videos of people talking about the importance of replacing the current Parkland Track.  These videos would be of students, staff and community members.  This has the potential to be a 30 hour CLE project, a capstone project or a project for one of your other classes.  Please stop by the office if you are interested in this project.

We are having a virtual IB info session January 13 at 7:00 pm. Please email cgribling@saanichschools.ca to register.

Our schedule has Flipped, this means that Block 1 moves to alternating days and Block 2 is now every day. Students should have brought  home a notice from each of their teachers with the plan for their class, and School bus routes are changing. Please see routes near you - West side -- East side.

Report Cards have been distributed. Pick up now at the office.

A reminder to order your Year Book - $45. Call 250-655-2736 to order and pay over the phone.

Central Saanich Little League Registration information. Ages 13-16

The Parkland Track 2021 campaign has been officially launched.  You will notice posters in the school and around the community advertizing this campaign.  We hope to raise enough money by June of next year to replace the track over the summer.  Please spread the word about this exciting new project and check out the website at www.parklandtrack2021.com .  There is a DONATE NOW button on the website for those interested in donating.

ORDER PARKLAND SPIRIT WEAR! Forms at front office - place your order and pay - pick up at end of the day, at the front office!

Just a reminder that student drop off/pick up is in the parking lot by the tennis courts. Or you can use the bus loop.
