Despite all of our setbacks this year, we have created a production that we are immensely proud of! Our musical, THE HIGHLIGHT REEL, A DECADE IN REVIEW is live.  Our “show run” will last until Monday, March 29.  You will be able to access the link to the show via the Parkland Website.

Course selection forms for September 2021 are now over due. Please bring to the office asap.

The annual Euclid Math Contest from the University of Waterloo will be running again this April. It's a fun opportunity for grade 12 students to stretch their math and problem solving skills, as well as potentially earn some admission/scholarship benefits when applying to their Faculty of Math. See Mr. Morley this week if you would like to register. Cost is between $15 and $20.  

The music department is running a Purdy's Easter fundraiser this year, if you're interested in chocolates for loved ones or for yourself only!
Online orders are due on March 20th with delivery during the first week back after the break.


Need any Blueberry plants? Our Grad Class is holding a Blueberry Plant Fundraiser on now through April 10. Order form.

The Parkland Track 2021 campaign has been officially launched.  You will notice posters in the school and around the community advertizing this campaign.  We hope to raise enough money by June of this year to replace the track over the summer.  Please spread the word about this exciting new project and check out the website at www.parklandtrack2021.com .  There is a DONATE NOW button on the website for those interested in donating. We also have a Go Fund Me page. It will take a village to raise the money needed but we can do it!

Grads--are you interested in applying to be a Valedictorian, an MC, or a Musical Performer for the 2021 Grad??  Application forms are now available at the office or through the Grad 2021 Google Classroom.  Applications are due April 1st.  Please see Ms. Chicanot or Ms. Thompson if you have questions about this process.

Our District Indigenous Post-Secondary Liaison Shane Hartman is at Parkland every Tuesday from 11:00am-12:00pm in the Cultural room to answer questions and help you with your Post-Secondary needs. To attend the Career Fair, students can tune in to BC Today with Michelle Eliot from 12:30 p.m.-1 p.m. PT, March 22-26 on their local CBC Radio One or online at cbc.ca/listen.  This could be of value to students, particularly those in Grades 11 and 12 (of course, very eager younger students can join, too!). There will be opportunities for listeners to call in with questions.
