Our Leadership students are doing a necessities drive - please feel free to donate toiletries or gently used clothing and bedding. Please feel free to drop off donations at the office until April 22.

Any French club members wishing to go our our trip to the Fickle Fig, please come to Madame Hassett's Room 112 and pick up a permission form. We are walking or riding there after school on Tuesday, April 20 for some baguettes and croissants. 

Good morning Parkland students. You will hear music after the lunch warning bell.  The music selections are made for you by some of your very own Parkland staff.  This week's music is brought to you by Ms. Lawes!!

Despite all of our setbacks this year, we have created a production that we are immensely proud of! Our musical, THE HIGHLIGHT REEL, A DECADE IN REVIEW is live.  You will be able to access the link to the show via the Parkland Website.

Parents/Guardians/Caregivers of Grades 10 & 12 students are asked to completed a Ministry of Education Electronic Anonymous Student Learning Survey, anytime before April 30.

Quarter 4 starts Monday, April 26 - everyone in attendance all day. Bus Routes - Morning pick up will remain the same, to bring you to school. Starting April 27 -  Lunch time – return home from school – go to the bus loop right after your Block 1 class. After school buses run at regular time to take you home.

The Parkland Track 2021 campaign has been officially launched.  You will notice posters in the school and around the community advertizing this campaign.  We hope to raise enough money by June of this year to replace the track over the summer.  Please spread the word about this exciting new project and check out the website at www.parklandtrack2021.com .  There is a DONATE NOW button on the website for those interested in donating. We also have a Go Fund Me page. It will take a village to raise the money needed but we can do it!

Just a reminder that student drop off/pick up is in the parking lot by the tennis courts. Or you can use the bus loop.

Grads your Capstone presentations are this Thursday, please make sure you have signed up.

Grads it's time to vote for your Valedictorians, voting open now until 2:00pm Friday, April 23.

Grads ceremony packages have been distributed. If you did not attend the assembly, please pick up your package from the office.  Please complete and return to the office by May 7.

Grad photos are now finished at the school, if you still want photos or retakes, please contact Life Touch directly -  250-744-4100.

The Grad lanyards are available at the office $5 each.

Are you thinking about life after high school? Our District Indigenous Post-Secondary Liaison Shane Hartman is at Parkland every Tuesday from 11:00am-12:00pm in the Cultural room to answer questions and help you with your Post-Secondary needs. BC Regional Carpenters Union is looking for hire young aspiring carpenters for the summer.  Love working with Wood? Building things? Are you a hard worker?  Full time summer employment working on a construction site would be fabulous opportunity for you. You could also become a Youth Apprentice! See Ms. McNamee ASAP if you are interested.

Ceanesse Kitchens is looking for someone with a good attitude to help in their shop over the summer. Duties include shipping and receiving, installing doors and drawer fronts on cabinets and an opportunity to learn some of the basic machinery.  No experience is required as they train in house. After School Math Tutorial Running Virtually!
Former Parkland Student and UVic math degree holder Chloe Hegland will be hosting extra-help sessions for math after school on Wednesdays from 2:15 to 3:30. Students will need their own device and Zoom account to join, but can do so from the comfort of their home. Drop in once you are home after school whenever you need help working through problems, require a mini review lesson, or want help studying for a test. The credentials to join are:
