Tennis Club is on after school today as long as it doesn't rain. Meet in the front foyer.

Parkland is excited to announce our Spring Succulent Plant Track Fundraiser (Chicks & Hens). Please call 250-655-2700 to order or come into the school to pay and pick up at the office.  All monies raised will be added to our Track 2021 campaign.  Thank you for supporting Parkland!

If you ordered Blueberry Plants from either our Grads or our Band students, the plants have arrived and can be picked up at the front office.

School Bus registration for 2021/22 is now open until June 30, 2021. You will need your student number to register for transportation -  generally, 7 digits. Registration Home Page.

Q3 Report Cards were distributed last Friday and can now be picked up at the office.

Time for a haircut or maybe a new style?  Our own Laura Pettinger and Zafiya Woods are working at Studio 63Call for an appointment and support your talented Panthers!!

The Saanich School District remains committed to wellness and the promotion of positive health in our schools and communities. These monthly snapshots are an invitation to learn together as we foster and promote positive health in our own lives, and the lives of those around us.  Please follow the link to access our April snapshot on Mental Health and Substance Use. 

The Parkland Track 2021 campaign has been officially launched.  You will notice posters in the school and around the community advertizing this campaign.  We hope to raise enough money by June of this year to replace the track over the summer.  Please spread the word about this exciting new project and check out the website at www.parklandtrack2021.com .  There is a DONATE NOW button on the website for those interested in donating. We also have a Go Fund Me page. It will take a village to raise the money needed but we can do it!

Just a reminder that student drop off/pick up is in the parking lot by the tennis courts. Or you can use the bus loop.

Grads ceremony packages have been distributed. Please complete and return to the office by tomorrow. Also make sure you have signed up for the ceremony filming day.

Grad photos are now finished at the school, if you still want photos or retakes, please contact Life Touch directly -  250-744-4100.

The Grad lanyards are available at the office $5 each. We also have a few crewnecks and hoodies for sale, $45 & $50.

Are you thinking about life after high school? Our District Indigenous Post-Secondary Liaison Shane Hartman is at Parkland every Tuesday from 11:00am-12:00pm in the Cultural room to answer questions and help you with your Post-Secondary needs. Come visit him for his office hours or email him directly at shartman@saanichschools.ca.

CAREER CENTRE:

Celebrating Youth Week, check out this event:   Indigenous Mixed Media & the Arts on Thursday, May 6th, from 1 till 3 pm. Panelists will share their journey through the arts and answer questions from participants. The event will finish with a presentation with information on local and provincial Mixed Media & the Arts grants and mentorship opportunities, and opportunities to watch for!!!

After School Math Tutorial Running Virtually!
Former Parkland Student and UVic math degree holder Chloe Hegland will be hosting extra-help sessions for math after school on Wednesdays from 2:15 to 3:30. Students will need their own device and Zoom account to join, but can do so from the comfort of their home. Drop in once you are home after school whenever you need help working through problems, require a mini review lesson, or want help studying for a test. The credentials to join are:
