The Duke of Edinburgh Program is an internationally recognized award that promotes excellence in young people, through the pursuit of interests and giving back to the community. The DoE Award gives youth an opportunity to progress outside their comfort zone, and gain leadership experience. The Award looks amazing on resumes and job applications, as well as giving the recipient up to six high school credits. It also provides the recipients a sense of accomplishment and pride. If you are interested in this program, please see Ms. Gribling in the office.
Do you like music? If so, I invite you to be part of Locura de marzo (March Madness), a worldwide music contest and vote for your favourite songs daily. This project is an excellent way to listen to some new songs and to engage with Hispanic culture and language. The contest and voting has started, check out the display board in the front foyer.
Here's how you can vote:
1. Scan the QR code of the songs of the day
2. Listen or watch the songs
3. Vote for your favourite song with the link provided
4. That's it!
