List of GRAD 2014 STUDENTS WHO WILL BE SCHEDULED FOR GRADUATION TRANSITION INTERVIEWS: first week of December, has been posted on Career Centre window. Interview schedules, time & place, will be posted at a later date.

FOR THOSE WHOSE NAME APPEARS ON THIS LIST: PLEASE PICK UP YOUR GT INTERVIEW PACKAGE IN CAREER CENTRE MONDAY NOVEMBER 25TH.

IF YOUR NAME DOES NOT APPEAR ON THIS LIST, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE YOUR GRAD TRANSITION REQUIREMENTS UNTIL APRIL 2014. Planning to graduate?  See MR. PIRES A.S.A.P!

Are you interested in taking yoga for credit? Now you can! Parkland is offering a 2 credit yoga course on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7 to 8:10 am starting on November 19th. Please see Ms. Dibblee for more info or see a counsellor to sign up.

Horatio Alger Jim Pattison B.C. Scholarship: $5000 for those starting at post secondary institutions no later than fall 2014. Applicant must have demonstrated integrity, perseverance overcoming adversity, with critical financial need, & minimum grade percentage of 65%. Deadline: Dec 1st, 2013. Twenty $70 000 TD Scholarships for Community Leadership available to students with exceptional initiative in making a meaningful & lasting difference in their community. Deadline is December 6, 2013. See Mr. Choo for details.

GRAD 2014 BOTTLE DRIVE: Saturday Nov 16, 2013 - 10 a.m. To 2 p.m. - student parking lot. Deposit bottles at Parkland, or place in driveways for pick-up in: Sidney, Deep Cove, & Dean Park. Volunteers: please contact Madison through school office.

UPCOMING COMMUNITY EVENTS:
BAYSIDE COMMUNITY CRAFT AND CHRISTMAS FAIR: Thursday Dec 5, from 3 p.m. To 7:30 p.m., followed by Bayside Winter Band Concert. School & community members are welcome to book tables to sell crafts. Contact Bayside School at 250-652-1135.

ROYAL OAK MIDDLE SCHOOL ANNUAL GIFT SALE AND CHRISTMAS FAIR:
Saturday December 7 from 10 a.m. To 3 p.m. - Artists, Artisans, Crafts, Specialty Foods & Silent Auction; Canteen open for lunch. All proceeds to Royal Oak Middle School.
