IMPORTANT FASHION SHOW MEETING TODAY @ LUNCH IN THE THEATRE. All students working on Grad Fashion Show, please attend.

Attention ALL Girls Soccer Players - try-outs are postponed one week but there is a short meeting TOMORROW - TUESDAY, Feb 25th at break in the P.E. classroom. Please attend!

Attention all International Students: The Whistler Ski trip is filling up fast, please get your registration in this week to avoid being disappointed.

Thursday February 27th Parkland hosting 3rd Annual Open House. Entire families are encouraged to attend: many activities for younger students including the huge inflatable obstacle course from Panorama. Please encourage your family, friends and neighbours to come, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.!

ANNUAL FESTIVAL DE LA FRANCOPHONE DE VICTORIA: FRENCH FESTIVAL – CENTENNIAL SQUARE: Music, Dance, family activities. Thursday March 6 to Sunday March 9, from noon on daily.

Monday February 24 – Sayril's team versus Spencer Nelson's team
Tuesday February 25 – The Plugs versus Rhys's team
Wednesday February 26 – The Plugs versus Jonny Cayou's team
Thursday February 27 – Rhys's team versus Morgan's team
 
The Senior Girls Basketball Team lost their first game on Thursday Feb. 20, 2014 to the Ballenas Whalers who are ranked #1 and seeded #3 for the Island.  Final score 72 to 41. Top scorers: Breanna Clooney  was MVP of the game with 10 points, Katie Isfeld 8 pts & Arianne Stevenson 6 pts. The team consisted of one Grade 12 player, one Grade 10 player and the remainder being Grade 9’s all played an exceptional  game with every player getting points and trailing by just 4 points at the half.
 
Their 2nd game  Friday Feb 21, 2014, was against Lambrick who won 91 to 78, after the teams were tied 50 to 50 at the half. Top scorers were Arianne Stevenson who was also MVP of the game with 24 points, Kristy Gallagher 17 pts & Emma Dennis 14 pts. This was an emotional last game for the team who say goodbye to their two incredible Grade 12 players coming into next season.
