On Thursday, February 27th Parkland Secondary hosted a very successful Community Open House. The evening featured interactive activities for the whole family including an inflatable obstacle course, min-it-to-win-it, a hockey shoot, the opportunity to try a rowing erg and cookie decorating in our Foods room.
Our guests viewed students at work in our wood and metal shop areas, Web 2.0 computer game design, art displays, band performances, drama and dance presentations, Writing 12 readings in our Learning Commons, Language, Socials, Math, Chemistry displays and a presentation from Cosmotology Trades and Apprenticeship.
Daddy Daycare/Playcare for little ones was provided by Mr. Andulajevic. Chili & a bun prepared by the Parkland Cafeteria Progam was available for $2.00.
