COMMUNITY FLEA MARKET - SATURDAY
by Sue Pritchard - Tuesday, 22 April 2014, 2:21 PM

Coming off a very successful fashion show earlier this month, the graduating class at Parkland Secondary School is gearing up to host a flea market. Breanna, who is graduating this year, says this is the first time the school will have a flea market and they hope the community responds.

The event itself happens in the school gym on Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The grad class is accepting donations for their tables at the event and those can be dropped off at the school on Friday, April 25 between 2 and 5 p.m. Items should be gently used and the public is welcome to rent tables at the flea market for $20 each.

“This year, this event is going to be a test,” Grads hope to raise money to put towards the class after grad events at the Mary Winspear Centre on June 25. Students and parent volunteers will be helping out with the flea market.

To learn more, to donate or to rent a table, call 250-655-2700.
